Varieties: Touriga Nacional (70%), Touriga Franca (10%), Vinhas Velhas - a blend of the traditional Douro varieties (in addition to Tinta Roriz and Barroca), planted 40 years ago, all mixed (20%).
Tasting notes: Vivid color, very fine and complex aromas, good fruit notes (cassis and red fruits), later evolving to spicy notes from the wood stage. Balanced, very harmonious, medium bodied, good fruit with fine and very long finish.
Harmonization: Negreiros Reserva 2017 likes cod, meat and cheese and digests well fatty and spicy dishes.
